Hailley Joyner joined Patterson Weaver Law, LLC to bring her significant expertise to our Estate Planning and Probate division. Hailley first found her passion for probate matters and designing estate plans during law school, when she was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for finishing 1st out of 300 students in her Contact Law class.
She sought and was awarded an intern position with Anderson Law, where she was mentored by Sally Anderson. There, she learned the ins and outs of these practice areas and the importance of showing compassion toward clients during the most challenging and emotional times of their lives. She discovered she had a gift for helping clients understand how to move forward and decided that this would be her career path.
After graduating at the top of her class from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, Hailley earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver’s Graduate Tax Program. This tax expertise gives her a greater understanding of tax issues and helps her chart the best path for her clients. During her LL.M. studies, she competed in the American Bar Association’s National Tax Challenge and finished 1st runner-up in the Oral Defense and was in the top four in the nation for her written paper.
Hailley has worked as an independent contract attorney and in boutique firm settings handling an array of matters. She has been helping clients meet their goals in probate matters, estate planning, and business law for nearly a decade.
