Karie GrittersSenior Paralegal / Office Administrator
Karie first began working in the legal field more than twenty years ago. Karie initially worked as a legal assistant for several small civil litigation practices in California before taking time off for the even more demanding task of raising her three daughters in Colorado Springs. Karie reentered the legal field in 2012, working at a local domestic relations firm, and began in her position with Patterson Weaver Law in 2015 as a Senior Paralegal / Office Administrator.
Karie quickly became an indispensable part of the practice, with a broad range of responsibilities including primary and initial client communications, drafting pleadings, preparing disclosures, managing financials and accounts, marketing, and various other administrative and legal duties. Karie excels at interpersonal communications, customer/client service, and multi-tasking complex tasks, as well as directing and budgeting attorney time and firm resources for optimum efficiency and responsiveness to our clients’ legal needs and personal concerns.
While her background is in civil litigation and domestic relations, Karie has quickly become proficient in criminal and DUI defense, probate litigation, will contests, and estate planning administrative and legal support. Just as importantly, Karie has a knack for relating to and communicating with people, and works hard to make our clients always feel comfortable, informed, and prepared. Karie is a key component of the client satisfaction our clients experience when they entrust their legal matter to Patterson Weaver Law, and she looks forward to helping you through your challenges as well.
