Is a DUI a felony in Colorado?

In Colorado, a DUI is usually a misdemeanor but can be a felony under certain circumstances. A DUI can be a felony when the violation occurred after three or more prior convictions for DUI, DUI per se, DWAI, vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, or any combination thereof. So if the DUI led to injury, death, or anything serious, it will become a Class IV felony.
